How lucky am I to have a friend in Ted Larson? Ted is a retired Seattle Firefighter and photographic ninja with his own darkroom. Ted was super generous by not only loaning me his high school camera but also giving me his time. Ted mentored me on loading the film, developing the negatives and finally making the prints, all in his basement darkroom.
Below you can follow the progress from practicing out front of Ted's house to shooting what's left of the Seattle Viaduct to shooting behind Seattle Fire Station 5 to carrying the camera up the side of a cinder cone in Oregon.
Thanks so much Ted!
